This product is easily configurable in Win XP. It works well with MS Flight Sim 2004, and X-Plane 8.6. It helps with a much more realistic flight experience on the PC. However, its not for fighter simulators, it works but a joystick is better. | 5 | Today | Works Great!
Flight Sim Yoke works great out of the box. I am a private pilot. Except for Microsoft's slightly unrealistic performance of its aircraft, this controller provides a most realistic flying experience right on my computer desk. It makes practice flights to places I plan to fly to a most realistic experience. Try it...you'll like it.

After easy hook-up (plugged into USB and my computer read product immediately - ready to use)however, after very few hours of use and with even less use of front button (red) on left handle of yoke, the button got sticky and would not come back up after being pressed. Great product and a must have for anyone using a flight sim. The product is very quality and works extremely well. The only issue with it is that it doesn't clamp onto the desk as securely as I think it should. It would great though and I highly recommend it. | 4 | Today | Positioning Deficiency
in general the yoke is not deferent from the normal joystick . in fact when you release your hand pressure on the joystick it will return to it's normal position but in the case of this yoke it dose not return to it's original position which makes it difficult to level the aircraft. in addition it dose not add much realism to the game as i was expected.

I have owned every version of MS Flight sim to come out, but always been disappointed with the action when using the keyboard and quickly grew tired of it. However, I recently started real flight training and my instructor told me to get the CH yoke. I did and it is unbelievably realistic when compared with the real thing. A great training aid. Although you don't get credit for sim hours toward your license, if you work the same maneuvers and principles on the sim that you do in your lessons, it will save you hours in the air and with the instructor. He has already told me he can really tell the difference between me and his other students. Besides, it's just fun! Makes MS Flight sim what it should be. I didn't get the rudder pedals right away, but realized I can't do forward slips or crosswind landings very well without them. Also, the autorudder feature is nice for beginners, but it builds a bad habit of steering while taxiing with the yoke, so I got the rudder pedals too. Love it! | 4 | Today | ch yoke review
