I have been using this Linksys KVM switch for about 4 years now. It has outlasted one HP computer and functions well switching my home office equipment between my work laptop (HP) and my personal laptop (Sony) and is attached to ports on two docking stations. I use a Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse and a 22 inch LED monitor. All functions work well and it switches easily and consistently with a double keystroke (scroll lock). If you're using a newer port replicator/docking station or computer without PS2 ports, you'll need USB adaptors for this item or if your keyboard and mouse are USB, this isn't the switch for you (unless you buy or have adaptors which are very cheap). There are similar KVM switches that are designed to work with USB, so this is likely the better bet in this instance. | 5 | Today | Electronic KVM not for thin client

I've been using my KVM switch for several weeks now without ANY problems! It works as advertised and the "Scroll Lock" hot key toggle works great: very convenient - there are no external buttons or switches to toggle between PC's.
The only problem I had was when I first installed the switch, I was getting an annoying video "shimmer" on the second PC. Turns out, I had the two PC's plugged into two separate power outlets. When I moved both PC power plugs to the same outlet, the shimmer went away! For the tekkies: it was probably a ground-loop problem. | 5 | Today | Good Product
