Are you ready?
I know, I know Madden NFL 2003 sounds a bit boring right. Wrong it's an awesome action packed, fun video game for the Playstation2 consol. This is the ultimate football video game, it has awesome graphics, and sometimes you might even forget it's a video game.
This is an E for everyone video game with a price of only $19.99. You have a lot of choices from pro NFL teams to pro NFL football stars. It also has a wide choice of other things you can do like create your own teams, your own pro NFL stars, and you can go to play now and you can just pick a team and play, there's also a lot more that you can do.
Making pro NFL teams is pretty cool believe it or not, you can name the team, you can create its home football field, and you can also pick its sponsor. Another thing you can do is create a playbook for any team you want to, create formations, create passing or running plays which ever you want.
Overall this game has some disadvantages like:
· Some things are not that realistic as some other football games
· The game can get boring at times
Well then again no game is just right nor not good.
Well overall this game is very cool and full of various things to do. The price is as low as it gets at $19.99, which is very cheap for such a cool game. If you ever get this game I hope you like it and think it's the coolest game you have ever played or maybe just an all right game. Overall this is one of the coolest games I have ever played and I hope you like it if you get it.
| 4 | Today | **OK GAME** I was truly dissapointed with this game. For one thing the computer defence is unstoppable. For antoher, the gameplay is too slow and that makes running plays both difficult and boring. If you have played other football games(i.e. NFL Blitz Pro) you would find that it is much better because of the fast gameplay. And another thing, making players and teams gets old FAST. I thought two cool features were that you can make a playbook and that you can do mini camps. Despite some entertainment, this game is not worth buying. I suggest you pick your football video game out very carefully before you purchase it. Thanks for reading. | 4 | Today | TP rules the Game This game is amazing There are 3 reasons why *Amazing graphics *Real lookin gameplay *And, the #1 reason, is because Todd Pinkston is amazing in this game. and by the way, for all you people not eagles fans, THE EAGLES ROCK, YOU STINK, AND WERE GONNA WIN THE SUPERBOWL, thanks to- Donovan Mcnab, James Thrash, TODD PINKSTON, Freddie Mitchell, Correl Buckhalter, Brian Westbrook, Duce Staley, L.J. (If you havent noticed, Todd Pinkston is awesome!!!!!) | 5 | Today | Best Football Game Ever!! This game is the greatest! It's super fun! It has great replay value. there are a whole bunch of game modes. When you play a game you earn tokens to unlock cards. You can even unlock Barry Sanders, and a whole bunch of really good players! You need to buy this game it is really great!!!!! | 4 | Today | AWSOME ok, this is the best football game i have ever played. ive played madden 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and i think that 2003 is the best. ive never really played madden football games before my friend got 2004 for his xbox, i thought it was pretty awsome, so i went online to find a madden game. first i rented 2002 and i was pleased with it, then i found 2003 real cheap for the PS2 so i bought it, and all in all i think madden 2003 is the best madden game u can get. i highly recommend this game. so if you are a huge football fan i would go with this one. | 5 | Today | Madden 2003 or NFL 2k3 Who's The Best? After reading so many reviews, I decided to purchase both of these games to see for myself who is the best. Here is my Break down. This applies only to the PS2 platform! GRAPHICS: Hands down, Madden has 2K3 beat in this category. You can see some kind of resemblance of the actual players to their real life counter parts. The mechanics of the players are very impressive as well as the players eye movement. In 2K3 all the players look just about the same. PLAY: It all depedends on your style of play and what you like. Madden has a more tight almost restricting style of play. which I may prefer. On offence the players run their route and just stand their waiting for the ball. I don't prefer. 2K3 has a loose feel and players run their route and continue to move to get open which I prefer. SELECTING PLAY: If you played any of the games, it is the same style in 2003. Run the nickle, double wide. 2k3 takes some getting used, because you have to point the analog stick at the type of play and cycle through the plays by using r1 or r2. And there is the non tradition name of the plays. Again it is a matter of preferrence. REPLAY AND COMMENTATING: Madden, I find that although Madden says a few of the things he previously have said in his other games the overall commentation is of the hook! The replay is also off the hook! The combination of the replay with the play by play analysis makes you feel that you are apart of the game, on the real! It's like you are putting yourself into the game. You can also challend a call on a play. 2k3 replay and commentary is pretty hype too. They talk about the best play on the team and how dangerous he is they get into the stats and espn does a great joy in presenting all this too you. the replays are exquisite and hard hitting. all in all you feel a part of the game but not quite like the way Madden puts you into it. Again this a matter of preference. There is the good and bad points in both games and I can not say enough that it all depends on what you are looking for a your style of football. It was about time that Madden has some competition because I think that it is bringing out the best in his crew to give his gamers an above average football gaming experience. Over the years I just think that the only changes that were made is in the rosters. There are a host of other feartures that are too numerous to mention but it is up to you to see for yourself. Although the Madden series is good I detected a since of holding back some improvements. NOT THIS TIME. As for 2K3, I enjoy it as my second best football game that will get just as much playing time. I hope that this review would be a help for those of us that research a game before you buy. | 5 | Today | timeouts It's in the game once again from EA sports. By far the best football game that I have ever played. I have a lot of good things to say about this game but it would be easier to bring up the few bad ones. My main complaint is the play clock after a time out. I don't remember how many times that I have gotten flagged for a delay of game penalty after I have taken a time out. I guess the rule is that there is only 25 seconds for an offensive team to run a play after a time out. But come on! It is not like my quarterback had the chance to go to the sideline to talk to the coach. Also, a couple of times in time critical possessions I have not been able to snap the ball because the computer was showing a game stat. This is an excellent game though and I don't even mind that the computer at times to be too dominating (breaking tackles, and causing fumbles). But I still haven't mastered a lot of the techniques to make me better, like the hot routes. An excellent purchase. | 5 | Today | No more online play. If you wanna play a football game online, don't play this cause' its not online anymore. It was only online for one year. That is a rip-off,dontcha think?Well,Madden 2004 is online...For now...But in August 2004,that too will be offline. So if you want a online football game that won't last online for only a year, check out NFL 2K3 or ESPN NFL Football. | 3 | Today | Not at all realistic. I have to give this title at least 3 stars just because I have so much fun playing it. There are, however major errors in the running/passing games. #1 is the running game. I was dissapointed that I could hold Marshall Faulk (the best RB in this edition of Madden) to 9 yards on 23 carries, while I was able to gain 167 yards on 18 carries with William Green, in other words, the running game for the player is incredibly easy, while the CPU's running game is exceptionally easy to stop. #2 is the passing game, this is a direct result of #1, because the Rams eventually realize Faulk isn't doing anything for them, they throw on every down ......... and every down they get at least a 20 yard gain. The recievers in the game must have very sticky hands, because on every mode except rookie, they catch nearly every ball thrown. I suppose that many casual gamers would hold this game in higher respect than I, but I am such a football pureist, this game just doesn't do it for me. Like I mentioned above, it IS incredibly fun, just not overly realistic. | 3 | Today | Awesome This is a great game! The best sport game from the 2002.Think how good the 2004 edition's going to be. | 5 | Today |
