I've owned this mouse for about two years and have used it in a clean office environment. I liked the fact that it was very light, fit comfortably in my hand and had a good "click" feel. Unfortunately, it started acting very erratically yesterday. To be sure it was the mouse, I swapped it with another computer mouse. My computer resumed working fine and the mouse made the other computer behave erratically. So, I wouldn't say this mouse is such a great value... | 2 | Today | OK for the price
I bought 2 of these seeing as how they were cheap and had positive reviews. My impression is that they're just OK...nothing special. I also noticed some spastic movements but they're not frequent nor are they a major problem. When I play jigsaw puzzles online, that's when it exhibits the problem most noticeably. It is a very standard three button mouse. The buttons feel OK and the scroll wheel is smooth. In the hand it feels big and clunky. Higher quality mice that have a good feel are tapered to better fit the palm of the user's hand, more like a teardrop; this mouse is not tapered, it is more like a rounded box car. | 3 | Today | Great deal

I had used several mice on my Dell including the one that came with the computer at purchase and had trouble with them all after a short time. I didn't install the software but my computer recognized the mouse right away. Later on, I installed the software and found out that it allowed me to assign a function to the scroll-wheel button (e.g., pressing it to open my default browser).
I also found out this optical mouse can "travel" much longer than my old Kensington optical mouse (with the same travel distance of my hand holding the mouse). Also, the scroll wheel is smoother and and more sensitive than my old mouse as well. Because this new mouse is so inexpensive, I am going to get another one to replace the old one for my another PC. | 5 | Today | Excellent value

First of all, this mouse has life-time warranty from Belkin, dollface (what a silly reviewer).
Second of all, I've used it for 2.5 years now and never had a problem. In fact, it's so sturdy and simple I wanted to beat it up to ruin it so as to have a reason to buy a fancier one. I failed. You can smash it against the floor and nothing would fall off. I figure it's meant to be. Get it, it's good. | 4 | Today | This mouse works great
I teach as a computer teacher. I bought one of these for me, then got one for my graphic computer. That was 6 months ago now I'm going to place one on all 25 computers and replace those dreaded ball mice. Previous reviewer obviously had user error involved or merely one bad mouse which can happen.
