Tony Hawk hit the jackpot when he and Activision Software Company came out with Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. The sequel to the game was an even bigger hit, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2. The second game was different in some ways. There are more objectives to accomplish in order to get to the next level. The game has new features like new skaters and Park Editor. I played the game and beat within a couple of days. Every time I play the game I figure out something new, like hidden areas, different tricks, and how to score more points. It helped me when I was skateboarding in real life. I learned new tricks through seeing how they perform them. I would recommend this game to anyone who is a skateboarder or is thinking about skateboarding. If your just looking for a cool game, this is it. | 5 | Today | A Great game for all Skateboarders!

Let me get one thing straight. I love the Tony Hawk franchise. Everytime a new Tony Hawk game comes out, it consumes my life for at least a month. My entire world becomes a huge skatepark, as I start looking for a good skating line everywhere I go. However, the reason Tony Hawk has become such a popular game is because it is a skating game that is actually easy to control, that just about anybody can pick up and play without any trouble, where you can do insane inhuman tricks that most people would never think of attempting in real life. Unfortunately, the Game Boy Advance version of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 is very hard to control. The game needs to be 3-D, not 2.5-D, like this game is. You will find yourself constantly turning the wrong direction because of this. In addition, the awkward placement of the buttons on the Game Boy Advance can be very frustrating. If you are used to playing on the Playstation or N64, it will take quite some time to get used to hitting the R and L buttons for the moves, the A button to ollie, and the B button to grind. I constantly found myself hitting the wrong buttons. When it comes down to it, you will be playing the same Tony Hawk as you played on your Playstation, but with fewer levels. Because of the aforementioned control problems, you will not be able to pull off the insane stunts and scores that you could on your Playstion version. Even if you could, your character is so small that it would not look nearly as cool as it did on your TV at home. Why bother? | 2 | Today | Tony Hawk's first 3-D trip to Game Boy
Previous Tony Hawk games for Game Boy have been limited to a 2-D world. Now with the power of the Game Boy Advance though, the Hawk has added an entirely new dimension to his Game Boy games. Much more like the Playstation and N64 games, this GBA port features a lot of similar levels, with similar structures, objectives, characters, moves, and control. This game also contains some levels not featured in the other versions. Though the graphics are quite good, though can't hold a candle to the more advanced versions. THPS 2 all in all is a very good GBA game. With excellent graphics, play control, game design, (the game also contains a ton of special codes, levels, and characters) and some what decent music, THPS 2 is a must buy for extreme sports fans or just GBA owners looking for a game to hold their interest. | 5 | Today | Tony Hawk's first 3-D trip to Game Boy

This game is good, but not awesome. It has replay value, but its no rpg. I personally like it better for nintendo because you get more into the game, as the rider. I skate so i know the whole physics deal, and its really very close to actual life skating, cept for the places of course. Pros - Making money to buy thing like stats and better decks. Great charcters, with different characteristics. much much replay value, i havent gotten bored yet!!(as of many months) God mode is awesome, and works very well with this game.(God mode is where you are looking over the person or persons) Cons - Easy enough to beat, and once you get it down its easy to do huge tricks. SPECIALS DONT DO MUCH!!! yes the specials dont do much if anythings, because you get tons of points for normal moves. Areas could be more complex, but its not exactly a bad thing to memorize them!
