I've had the blender about 3 weeks and have used it several times for pureeing soup and yesterday for pureeing softened dried peppers. It has done an excellent job on each. The minimal number of settings (high and low) has not been a detriment -- medium is still stronger than my previous Krups blender. The blade moves the contents around very well.

This blender is amazing, it is the best I have ever bought or seen. It makes my shake with ice in about 15 seconds, it is not loud and there are no ice lumps left. It looks great, easy to clean, etc. I bought the stainless steel model, it comes as one container and is great.
I could not be happier with any product, I had bought the Magic Bullet before this and it does nothing compared to this.
I would highly recommend this product to anyone searching for a blender that is quick, quiet, beautiful, performs magnificently and a very good buy.

I am doing my new kitchen in 'retro' and decided on this blender. I was cautious about it since some said it only had two speeds. This blender is great! It has quality thick heavy glass and a great retro look for the kitchen. It's a keeper. | 5 | Today | Hate to eat--Good for 2 meals a day
I hate to eat @ this little green baby lets me chug it in there, turn on the switch and chug it down.Here's my mix to judge it juice. 1/2 cup raw oatmeal,1/2 cup Exekiel, favorite protean powder,creatine,one banana,10 each of rasberries@ blackberries,8 dates(sometimes with pits of coarse by accident),all the haagen-daz I can get in, a little half@half,oh,and nuts, walnuts, hazel nuts, cashews, sunlower seeds whatever.Turn on switch sometimes grinding, mixing all at once, somtimes in two switchings.No problem either way. With the beautiful glass work full and running over,that's two meals down for the day.I could not live with out it now. I bought this blender about a month ago. It easily crushes ice for a perfect ice coffee, frozen cocktail, etc. Now I can make a great mocha Frappacino's at home! Bye Bye Starbucks! Very easy to operate with On, Low, & High. I feel the stainless steel container is safer than glass. Very easy clean-up and attractive enough to leave out on the kitchen counter. I am completely satisfied with this purchase. No regrets. | 5 | Today | Go for it!
My husband and I both love this blender. It is worth the splurge. We have found it to be reliable and practical and love the fact that there is very little plastic involved in its construction. This is not a disposable appliance like so many out there on the market. We are looking forward to this being our last.
A couple things worth noting...
1. The pitcher is not dishwasher safe because of the aluminum spinner thingy but it is still really easy to clean. I just blend some soapy water in it and rinse it out. Its nice not to have to deal with a rubber washer and screw on attachment.
2. It is not quiet when crushing ice -but who would expect that it would be? Isn't a blender supposed to make noise?
The hardest part in making this purchase was choosing the color we wanted to live with forever. There are so many great options. We went with chili red - looks great with homemade pesto! | 5 | Today | Looks great on the counter
Great appliance with a powerful motor. I chose the red one and it is very chic. Has done everything I asked it to including powdering dried herbs. Who knew? Worth the purchase price. | 5 | Today | misleading product description & drippy spout
I am disappointed in this purchase. We have gone through numerous blenders over the years, always because of the motor burning. We make a lot of blended drinks. This product description stated, "powerful 350 watt motor". After little research, I discovered that 350 watts wasn't actually very powerful. So far so good though, it's not having any trouble blending the drinks. The only problem so far is that it drips like crazy when you pour from it. If I were to do it over again, I would probably go with a different blender but we'll see how long this one lasts! | 3 | Today |
