I played this game on my one friend's Gamecube, and it was ok. The gameplay is good, but there are a lot of set backs to this game. The graphics suck! The crowd noises aren't very good. I don't think that's the first but anyways this really is the best football game of all time. This game is better than gameday,ncaa, or any of those games. Blitz has the less breakable rules which is fun but seriously dude, maddens the game. This game, even coaches should play so they can be avoiding stupid decisions. I mean c'mon you could challenge plays, that kicks ass...!!! The funniest thing is making your team and guy and start a franchise. Playing this game online is fun too.. Even though there's not really a challenge out there. (unless you think other wise) you seriously got to get this game dude, seriously. The graphics are sweet, the gameplay is sweet, the whole damn game is sweet. The think that made me give this game 4 stars is the fact that theres really nothing different between this and madden 2003. I mean there's probably a little different thing like the playmaker but really if you play this one and madden 2003 there's really no difference. You'd agree too...but anyways this games great I don't know about buying it but...yeah buy it... 5 Today Definitely a keeper I've been very impressed with this game. I won't expound on the most obvious good points, as many other reviewers have already done that. Pretty well everything about this game is good. What really impressed me though is the level of detail in the gameplay. Watch what happens if your wide receiver catches a pass right on the out-of-bounds line, or how ball carriers get tackled (gone are the days of "the flop"). Also, the controls are very intuitive and easy to learn, which I found a big plus. Like football? Snap this one up. ;) 5 Today The best football game ever This game is the best football game ever by far.It's totally worth the money.Its got sweet graphics,great extras,and the best gameplay.If you like football games,then this game is a must. 4 Today Why to buy Madden 2004 You should buy madden 2004 because it has improved graphics from the 2003 version you can also make your own team and choose all the players you can even make your own logos and names you can choose the colors for your home and away jerseys.Also in the game there is a new franchise mode where you can choose any team and customise it's players or keep them the same and in franchise mode you can play pre season regular season playoffs and even the super bowl if you can make it that far. You won't be disipointed with this game so it is worth every penny of the 50.00 dollars you are spending so go to the store and buy Madden 2004 for the Nintendo Gamecube if you want a game you will never get tired of. 4 Today Visually Great but Memory Overload I got for my 10 yo nephew. He loves it and would give this 5 stars. The graphics are great and GC seems to have done right by it visually. But to save any of this games takes all his memory (and he seems to have a lot). He had to clear all his other saved games and just use it on Madden 2004. I think that [is bad.] 3 Today Greatest Football Game Ever!! If you want realism, this is as close as it gets.
