| Review | Rating | Last Updated | Creative Labs I-trigue L3450 2.1 Computer Speakers (3-Speaker) The clarity on these Creative Labs I-trigue L3450 2.1 Computer Speakers (3-Speaker) are phenomenal to say the least I love these speakers will continue to buy this brand always unless they become obsolete or go out of business of course I fully recommend these speakers for the clarity of sounds and high volume these speakers will rock your world I promise and they look great with your decor and computer this set actually matches my computer which was a nice feature that I wanted in speakers and they sound better than any other computer speaker I have ever heard or have heard recommended | 5 | Today | Creative Labs L3450 2.1 The speaker's sound is not clear and cannot handle a loud volume. | 2 | Today | bulky sound quality is in line with the price, overall a good value. the woofer is a bit large and bulky. | 4 | Today | Hmm... To the reviewer whining about the treble control. Every music player on a pc or mac has the ability to adjust that via software. Cheers! | 5 | Today | Good Sound, Great Look Pros:
-- Design
-- Sound great, at high or low volumes
-- Remote (nice to control volume and bass levels, and I like the line in and headphone ports on the remote)
Con:
-- Sub woofer size: At 12"h, 7"w, 10.5"d it is almost as big as my pc.
Overall:
These look great, sound great and take up only a small amount of space on my desk. They look really great next to my silver lcd (and would look just as well next to a white lcd, but probably not black). | 4 | Today | Great sounding sleek speakers Bought these the other day and am very pleased with their sound quality and range. I'm only using them to listem to music and some games. They have more than enought power and look great on my desk.
The wired remote is very handy and it's great to have access to the subwoofer volume. Most systems only have a knob on the back of the speaker. | 4 | Today | Apple G5 plus L3450 speakers =KICK A$$ I bought these and love them. They look great and sound even better.
If you have a Mac, these look like they were made my Apple.
The sub woofer is robust and really thumps. They are very sturdy and do not wobble
or fall over. Directions are made for First graders, so I had no problem getting them going. My friend listened to mine and ordered his own pair. | 5 | Today | Should Have Listened To The Guy Below... I was looking for some external speakers to go with my Apple Powerbook G4, and ended up choosing these. Having played a wide variety of music through these, and making endless adjustments to attempt to get the perfect sound out of them, I offer my opinion.
They look great, I love the remote, set-up is easy, and the bass is more than adequate, but for the price, these speakers are severely lacking in mid-range. The high end sound is fairly crisp and clean, but there simply is not nearly enough mid-range. Everything the dude below says is absolutely true. For $50, I'd be happy with these, but not one dollar more. I'm already shopping for something else... | 2 | Today | Not as good as I expected I purchased these speakers for aesthetic reasons, especially after having read the positive reviews posted here. However I was sorely disappointed by their performance. Pros: aesthetically pleasing, small size, wired remote Cons: no treble control (can only adjust the bass level), weak midrange output I played all genres from dance, R&B, electronica, rock, punk, classical, opera, jazz, piano, choral, Latin, solo instrumental (violin, cello, clarinet), and movies. The bass is excellent as others have already pointed out. However, due to the small size of the speakers, the midrange output was significantly lacking. When I tried to compensate for this by boosting the treble in iTunes (the speakers have no treble control!) certain songs were played with noticeable distortion due to overloading the small speakers. A perfect example of this is how alto saxophone in certain jazz songs were really distorted. Even my 5 year old basic Phillips speakers and subwoofer performed better than these. The only redeeming quality of the I-trigues is their attractive aesthetics and small size. According to some Apple audiophiles, Soundsticks 2 by Harman Kardon is a good alternative to these speakers for $50.00 more. | 2 | Today | Iam fully satisfied with them! I bought them yesterday and i couldn't be happier! the sound is EXCELLENT, they look like MODELS. :) i recommend them. | 5 | Today |
