I bought this from a Microcenter. Unfortunately, I bought it during a busy time when I couldn't try it out until after the return period ended. The resolution is awful and actually wouldn't even work with my monitor. I totally agree with the other reviewer. It is literally so bad that I won't sell it to someone else and will likely recycle it. It would make me feel guilty making someone else experience the suffering that this product brings with it. It is about the worst product I've ever bought and I feel stupid having bought it. 1 Today Easy to use, picture quality is bad I bought this unit for the sole purpose of watching DVD's on a 19" Dell LCD. I figured the movies look great when viewing them from the computer on this LCD, I'll buy a converter and replace the TV in my bedroom with a LCD setup. I thought it would be a cheap alternative to a LCD TV. The setup was very easy. Just make the proper connections and select the correct source, either on the unit or via remote. I first hooked the TV Jockey up to a 17" Dell LCD and a DVD player. The picture quality was terrible. It was worse than VHS over coax (I used S-Video for all my tests). I also tried this unit on a 15" Dell LCD and a 17" CRT monitor. The picture quality was still unacceptable. After looking through the manual, I realized this unit was only outputting in 640x480. The native resolution on the 17" LCD was 1280x1024, no wonder it looked so bad. There was no way to change the output resolution. Also, in the manual it said the TV Jockey does not work well with LCD monitors! If I would have known that from the specs on Amazon, I would have never bought it. In the end, I ended up returning the unit to Amazon (great customer service!). I'm looking in to getting a "TV Box" unit from AVERMEDIA.
