So happy with this juicer!
This is my first juicer. I was so excited after using it the first time! I juiced 9 lemons in just a few minutes and got 2 cups of juice! I followed the instructions and it was so easy! The reverse juice function is ingenious and the Fast Spin function works well too. I will say the juicer did "dance" around a bit thus the reason for 4 stars instead of five. I used one hand on the base and one hand on the lemon. It worked beautifully! A fantastic value for the price.

Does the job
I got this juicer for my home grown citrus. I have tried it on my grapefruit, and it reams out the peel very well, and juices it completely. The only thing that I would warn you about is the auto reverse feature. Every time you shift your hand or ease up the pressure, the juicing will stop, and will resume in the opposite direction. This is good for juicing, but can cause your hand to slip, and the juicer to rotate away from you. This will cause the spout to move away from whatever you are having the juice pour into. Be prepared and have a good grip on both the fruit and the juicer to avoid this and the resulting splash on the counter.

A Great Disappointment
This juicer is meant to perform a simple function. What could go wrong? Well, it fails at 50 percent of its task. Yes, it extracts all the juice from your orange, etc., but it fails utterly in its secondary function, that of extracting the large proportion of juice that remains trapped in the pulp within the strainer. The high-speed centrifuge spin that is meant to extract that significant amount of trapped juice from the pulp fails utterly and completely. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

Hang the Designers!
A product so bad the manufacturers must have known we would hate it before they ever put it on the shelves. I went back to my manual juicer after investing in this turd. Spills juice on the counter every time you use it, produces half the juice per fruit that I can make by hand, two-handed operation necessary and it's expensive. Mine's under the counter now, maybe someday I'll tear it apart for the motor. So much for your good name, Cuisinart. You knew you were ripping off your customers when you decided to sell this thing, now you never get to peddle me another appliance for as long as I live. Shortsighted of you? Who knows? I'm no marketing scumbag hired to post fake favorable reviews on this site; just another customer dumb enough to believe your brand name still meant quality. Live and Learn. Buyers beware.

Citrus Juicer
Great Value. Wish it had more juice storage and retractable cord really is not retractable or stowable. High-speed centrifuge effect is great to extract more juice. Super easy to clean.

Not Good
This appliance does not work for several reasons: 1. The spout is too short and your juice almost always spills on the counter. 2. This appliance trips the circuit breaker virtually every time and I have to make sure that I'm juicing near the breaker so that after half piece of fruit I have to reset the switch. This can make squeezing 12 oranges take about 5 minutes. 3. The appliance does not adhere to the counter and can spin out of control at any time. This makes juice fly everywhere. I cannot emphasize this enough: Not Good.

What a MESS!!
I bought this juicer because of the Cuisinart name, for a vacation home, where I wouldn't be using it every day. What a mistake that was! This is a very badly-designed juicer. The feet don't stay put, so you have to hold the juicer with one hand while pressing fruit down on it with the other. The top basket quickly fills up with pulp and seeds and starts to overflow, which then clogs up the miniscule drain hole where the juice is supposed to come out. No juice will come out of the hole, so the container under the pulp basket also starts to overflow! Meanwhile, the reverse mechanism unexpectedly kick in, and jerks the machine left or right, making any flowing juice pour right onto the counter. You need a third hand to get ANY juice at this point, since one hand is holding the juicer from jerking left or right, the other holds the fruit, and you also have to hold a knife or spoon pressed down into the lower container while it runs to push out any juice at all! What a MESS! End result? Very little juice in your glass, most of it either on the counter or your hands or stuck in the top basket with the overflowing pulp. Then the cleanup includes not only the parts of the juicer, but the body and underside of the juicer itself (from all the juice running down it), and about a foot square of the countertop. So sorry I bought this--don't waste your money--buy a Waring juicer--more expensive, but they last forever, are simple to use, and super-easy cleanup.

It's frustrating to use this juicer
I had a different juicer before this one and I happily used it for 7 years before it broke. I decided to try this model because of the reputation of the brand and the better look compare to the previous one. I hate waste but yesterday, after 1 year of frustration every time I used it, it finally ended up in the trash, even if it was still "working". You have to apply a lot of pressure to get any juice out; every other time you press the fruit the juicer spins on itself and the juice ends out on your counter; the spout is very pourly designed, too short so some juice doesn't get in your container even when the juicer doesn't spin in a different position; the spout's release mechanism (in theory you could keep it close and hold the juice) doesn't open properly; this massive juicer has a ridicolously small container to collect the juice and it gets quickly clogged with the pieces of fruit; finally (the minor issue) it's very noisy. It's my first review, and I decided to write it because I appreciate the opportunity of learning from other people's experiences. I hope this helps with your decision.

They got this one WRONG
I totally agree with the reviews posted. I had a Braun juicer which does not seem to be made any more. It was simple to use and lasted about a decade. This machine is everything that the previous reviews say: Unstable, messy and frustrating to use. Don't buy it.
1Today
Weak and poorly designed
The juicer is not powerful enough. Trying to juice an orange causes the juicer to shriek and then stop cold. I can't get half of the juice out. Then the reservoir for juice is very small and overflows the container. In addition, to get enough juice for one glass of juice, I have to clean the juicer half-way through, because it gets clogged with pulp. Buying this was a huge mistake.
