I bought this for my husband as he hated the roller ball mouse that came with the computer. The only downfall we have had so far is that if the USB dongle is even slightly out of the port then it affects how the mouse moves on the screen. Other than that we both have this type of product and love them. 4 Today Nice mouse. This is truely a great plug and play device. No drivers needed but you can install some if you like. You just open it, put in the batteries (2 AA) and plug in the usb dongle and switch the mouse on (on/off switch on the bottom). Works great. I bought 3 more for my other desktops after trying one. 5 Today ergonomic mouse for small hands I bought the blue-colored one back in 2004 as a spare mouse, but have had to use it intensively only last year. Sadly, the left button has given out and is not working anymore. That may have more to do with my abuse of it than the product's durability under normal use. (I used it 10 hours a day and frequently clicked hard on it when I'm furious at the screen.) I would still recommend it highly and in fact I'm thinking of getting a new one in maybe this silver color. 4 Today Battery are expensive Moouse worked fine till like 8th month when computer could not recognize this mouse..Then call Logitech and they sent me a brand new upgraded version of this mouse. I love that and their customer service. But this mouse eats up lot of AA batteries 3 Today Great Mouse I got the mouse for my husband for Christmas. He has a notebook computer and was tired of the mouse cord and the power cord getting tangled when getting the computer out and putting it away. He is extremely happy to have only the power cord to deal with. 5 Today Excellent! This is an excellent mouse. Ideal for no big hands, and the battery last a lot. 5 stars ***** 5 Today Comfortable, but doesn't last that long I liked the feel of this mouse, and the on-off button is great. It was a great mouse--while it lasted. It lasted only about a year and a half. And I didn't even use it all the time. 3 Today Just the right size My hands are small and large mouses hurt after a days use. This mouse is just the right size and works well. 5 Today Works well under XP and Linux, decent ergonomics I've had this mouse over a year now and use it with a Dell Inspiron 6000 under both Windows XP and under Linux (FC4). I found that the mouse works quite well with the default drivers under both operating systems. I've been using trackballs, mice, and other pointing devices since 1980, and learned about ergonomic problems the hard way. However, I have had no problems with this mouse and recently bought it's near-twin (a V270 Bluetooth Mouse) for use with my personal laptop. I've never had a problem with too sensitive (or insensitive) buttons. (My hands are larger than the average, but I would think that would be more problematic than with smaller hands.) 5 Today Good Accuracy poor ergonomics I've been using this mouse for over a year now and on a whole, I'm satisfied. The optical sensor is very effective and accurate on many surface types; the couch cushion is my favorite. My only real gripe is that the button click sensitivity is off. To comfortably operate the mouse, due to it's small foot print, you must use a high arch finger posistion. This places your fingers somewhat in the middle of the mouse buttons. You would think this is the intended location, but the sensitivity of the button is very low in this spot and requires too much force to comfortably use the mouse for a long period of time or when mentally tired. The proper sensitivity is located at the very forward tip of the buttons and really only can be comfortably actuated by meaty part of your finger between the first and second knuckles. This tends to kill the accuracy of the click point. Moving your finger tips to this point doesn't help, because then the position of your fingers causes their weight to inadvertantly click when trying to rest them on the mouse button. The effort to hold your fingers up off of the buttons is fatiging over time. I'm sure that some of these issues are related to my size hand and my expectations, but I can't help but think that Logitech didn't hit the correct target point in there ergonomic for this one.
