However, my excitement slowly changed to dissapointment, as the controller showed its true colors The battery life seems to be the controllers best feature. As long as you have "vibrate" turned off, your batteries will last a long time. After an hour of gameplay, the sucker started pulling me off to the right of the screen consistantly.. Resetting the controller did seem to help. However, resetting a controller every so often in the middle of a game is downright obnoxious. It now acts as a paperweight on my coffee table.. After a couple months of normal wear and tear, the left analog stick started sticking when moved to the right side... Can you imagine my frustration trying to play Ninja Gaiden with this thing? Do yourself a favor. Skip buying this controller, and buy yourself an S controller with an extention cable, or find another wireless controller thats worth your money, unless you like expensive paperweights... ;) 2 Today Not very Hip!!! I had two of these. Both times the controls started pulling everything to the left on the screen when I wasn't even touching the control. Both times this controller started out great but after about a week it went bonkers. 1 Today This controller has some problems... Well after I got this thing I was so excited to use it. Wireless play for the Xbox is awesome. The batteries with it last a long time, but after using it for only 15 minutes or so every time with every game I have tried it with, it starts to randomly make my character/vehicle go off to the right in the game. It's not constant, but more like randomly sending signals to the Xbox to move to the right. VERY irritating. I've had problems with generic controllers before. Always try to buy from the company that makes the console, or you're bound to have problems playing with it or just on some games. 1 Today Great controller for the $$ I have used a few wireless controllers on my Xbox...the Madcatx original bulky one, both logitech versions, and the Pelican controller. I like my old (...)retail Logitech controller and still use it. The smaller (...)Precision verison has some major problems with the analog sticks not working right and sticking sometimes...but if you get a good one..it is a good controller. After 3 exchanges at Walmart though, I got sick of trying to find a good one. At Sam Goody, I saw this HipGear controller and (...)...decided to try it. I like it alot! The layout is really close to the Microsoft S design and the RF seems really good. It doesn't have the same expensive feel of the factory controllers or the Logitech versions, but it does look ok and feels solid. The digital pad feels weird, but works fine. The analog sticks work very well and so do the triggers.
