It's not brain surgery folks and for the price you can't go wrong 4 Today I TOAST THIS TOASTER AND BOAST THAT IT'S TOAST IS THE MOST!!!! This toaster is GREAT for the price. It meets all of my expectations: It makes toast! Toast a bagel, toast a muffin, toast bread---it'll toast anything toastable, (even my square bread machine bread) and toasts evenly to boot! It toasts WAAAAAY better than my old B&D toaster oven (which by the way went out to the trash the same day my new toaster arrived). I really like the cancel feature, and the extra lift feature is nice as well...I have had no problem getting my english muffins out after toasting. All this talk of toast is making me hungry---think I'll go make more toast! 5 Today Uneven toasting lifter no higher than old toaster I am very disappointed with this toaster. It toasts very unevenly - one side of the bread much darker than the other and in one slot one bottom corner doesn't toast at all. I thought the lifter was a great idea but the toast comes up not as far as in my old toaster and when I use the lifter it only lifts it as high as the old one did. It's not really a lifter at all. 2 Today Good enough toaster We bought this because it has 4 slots and it has a raise-up feature to lift up the toast when it's done. It doesn't raise up very high and it won't raise up at all if the waffle is tipped enough to one side to get bumped in the way so you have to tip the waffle to where it's more upright so that it could be raised up. We love the red buttons! The red buttons light up on each side that is being used for toasting so that you know something is inside being toasted. That's not the only sign though because the red hot burners are glowing brightly red so you know it's toasting. What makes the red buttons a great feature is that they also function as a cancel button - press the red button and the toasting immediately stops and the toast pops up. Great feature! We would buy this toaster again because we can't see spending a lot of money on a toaster even though we use it almost daily. 4 Today Really surprised What a great toaster. All the bells and whistles I need and the price is right. A very practical item. 5 Today toaster I am not thrilled nor am I disappointed with this product - it's a toaster. It takes a long time to toast but the settings really do mean something. The slots are wide enough for bagels too. 4 Today Excellent toast... I got this for my mom for Christmas, and we tried it out for breakfast. This toaster definitely makes some delicious toast. I like that it's not too fancy, I mean why spend 100$ for a toaster when this will toast your bread just fine? It's wide enough for bagels and easy to clean. Highly recommended. 5 Today Cheap looking Well as my review title states this toaster is not too nice looking. Price is low and so is the quality. Just does not look like the newer nicer looking toasters. I found it difficult to get bread out even with the push up extender. To make things worse, the two slots on the left stopped working after one week. I am sending back for a refund. Amazon is great about returns. No shipping costs. Anyway, My wife was upset that I ordered such a cheap looking toaster. So now I will let her get whatever she wants. 2 Today Good basic toaster This toaster was perfect for what I was looking for.
