I bought this mouse so I wouldn't have to use the touchpad when I had my laptop sitting on a desk (seemed pointless). My laptop has builtin Bluetooth, so I pretty much turned on the mouse, associated with the computer, and was mousing in under a minute. I like solid construction, and the padded travel bag does a nice job protecting the mouse when I'm on the road. | 5 | Today | Good little mouse!
I purchased this mouse because I can't use those laptop pads or little joystick things. I love it! It takes two AA batteries (unfortunately not rechargeable,) and it's a little lighter than the flagship desktop mouse and lacks the extra buttons, but it's otherwise great! Does basic pointing and scrolling and that's all I could ask for at this price. I loved that it worked as soon as I plugged in the USB receiver, with no need for the extra software.

I just have two word to say "Excellent Product" for a laptop/notebook but guys take a look at the price. No extra buttons other then the required 3 and it looks simple and stylish.
I would have given 5 Star if the price was a little less.

Looks- Pretty cool in its matte silver grey blue look,looks robust..not like some tar**s mice.
Weight-Kinda heavy with the AA alkaline cells but u get used to it.
Functions- Normal 3 button n scroll,no funky internet and customizable 5 / 6 buttons.(Do u actually use them?!??!)
Battery Life - Been 2 months havnt replaced he duracell AA alkalines it came with ,indicator shows "good"(dumb software-just 2 levels - good and low,no intermediates,or maybe i havnt been fortunate to have had the battery at the those intermediate levels of performance)
It dsnt have a battery saving sleep mode,unlike other newer ones, has an on/off button tho,for you to fgure out when u wont be using it and switch it OFF urself,I have forgotten a lot of times,but software indicator shows battery level "good" even after little less than 2 months of moderate use.
RF function - No interference,delivers good!
However one day it was erratic and behaving hungover and slow. So i took out the USB dongle,the batteries, switched it off put the same batteries back in ,reinserted the USB stub,powered it back on,never had that problem ever.Amazed but happy!Go figure!
Im happy with my purchase,no complaints.I would recommend it,But not for the price listed here, scout for a cheaper deal,I got it for FREE because my credt card has redeemable points linked to amazon!
