| Review | Rating | Last Updated | C'mon. this game would have been cool in 1991. I bought it to play with my little niece and nephew, but I was disappointed. The game is not a game. Its tens of little "games" that have horrible graphics and last 3 seconds. They are pointless and confusing. | 1 | Today | this is the most carrot flavored game ever! i don't really know why it's carrot flavored. it's hard and sweet. This game could get a little annoying, but it is so fun and multiplayer is pretty cool. one player is hard though, i got to the 4th level and gave up. Warioo ware twisted for the gba is a lot better than this, though | 5 | Today | Weird, Funny, and Fast I began playing this game with my son and found it instantly addictive. It was even fun when I played it alone. Some people just won't get it. It's not a typical 'party' game. The best way to describe this game is "Here's a game, THINK FAST!". They throw game after game at you, giving you only seconds to succeed at a task (genres include sports, sci-fi, strange, Nintendo, I.Q.). In multi-player mode, this can be hilarious. Bodily function humor is part of this hilarity (too funny to get uptight about- for example you and a friend must compete to be the first to accurately stick two fingers up the nostrils as the nose spins round and round). I'm a 'gamer girl' who usually likes single player adventures, but this opened me up to the 'party' game concept. The graphics will be appreciated by those of us who grew up with Commodore 64s and such! :o) Oh, and a little hint. Instead of whining over games I don't like, I rent them from Hollywood Video first. Saves money and time! | 5 | Today | OK at best This game is not too bad , great for kids ! !
Levels are over too quick and graphics are kinda cheesey .... | 3 | Today | A missed opportunity The original Wario Ware for the Game Boy Advance was a breakout piece of software that offered one of the best handheld experiences since the original Tetris. You had a bunch of themed mini-games tossed in rapid succession at you, and your speed and reflexes were put to the test.
This Gamecube version is pretty much a direct port, except it actually seems to lose a few things in the process (such as the funny animations that introduced the characters and their various situations). The graphics are a direct emulation, and you get all the mini-games as you remember them. The major selling point here is the multiplayer mode, which allows up to 16 players by alternating. If you want a fun party-game and don't feel like the cutesy Mario Party offerings, Wario Ware is a solid purchase.
Basically the gameplay and concept is solid, and the graphics and audio are too "out there" to be rated traditionally. It just feels like so much more new content could've been created for the Gamecube, and Nintendo just got lazy and slapped the GBA stuff on there. Get this for the multiplayer, but stick with the GBA for the single-player offering. | 3 | Today | Exotic Fun If you're a person who only likes to beat the game and throw it in your cabinet and never play it again, this isn't the game for you. Everyone believes this is a bad game because it is easy to beat, which it kind of is. But if you have a brother/sister/friend that is there that you can play this with, it is non-stop fun. This game consists of 5-second micro-arcade games that are absolutely crazy. Sometimes in the funny way. Sometimes in the creepy way. I sometimes find myself laughing out loud when I'm playing this, because its so crazy. You have games from avoiding things that people throw at you while you're on a motorcycle, to trapping some noodle-headed alien that is running around. This is a great party game.
Sound- 8.5/10 I kinda like the sounds in this game, though they're kinda wierd sometimes :)
Graphics- 8/10 Its cartoon graphics so you have to learn to appreciate them
Fun- 8/10, 10/10 when you have some friends over. Great fun.
Overal- 8.5/10 A great game for people like me | 4 | Today | I do not recommend buying this game. This game was a total waist of money! It only took me a day to beat! The mini-games aren't that fun. I bought it two weeks ago and I am already sick of it! However, I gave it two stars because of its multiplayer mode which is good. I do not recommend buying this game. | 2 | Today | This game stinks This game stinks...it took 20 mins to play through the whole game. And each "game" is only 3 seconds long. | 1 | Today | WarioWare, Inc Rocks I bought this game for my kids, they're 9 and 6 years old. They both enjoy this game very much. | 5 | Today | This Game is so FUN! I played this game w/ my friends and it ROCKS. I especially love messing them up when theey're doing the minigames. but I HATE the one microgame where the lady has the snot running out of her nose and she sucks u up w/ it, that's just gross.
overall, this is such a fun game, i would DEFINATELY buy it! | 4 | Today |
