This skillet is nice and shiny. We washed it and rubbed it with oil. We fried bacon at a low temp and increased it, the bacon stuck. We fried sausage, it stuck. I don't know what we are doing wrong but I now hesitate to use it. Today I cleaned it and sprayed it with Pam and rubbed it good. We'll see if that helps. I like the looks of the skillet and hope we can figure out the problem. 3 Today frying pan I liked my first order so well, I bought another one as a gift. I like the product because it has NO TEFLON!!!!!!!! You won't be afraid of teflon pieces breaking off in your food....Easy to clean. I understand that this might be a discontinued product. Good luck with serching for another brand/model of the stainless steel electric skillet. I'm happy with the cooking - it's easy to titrate the temperature as needed. I especially love to set it to warm and serve from it at a party. It is beautiful! 5 Today Surprisingly easy to clean I love this skillet! After 3 electric skillets with "non-stick" coatings we were totally upset. The coatings all scratched and peeled - the "best" one only lasted a year. I mentioned that my mother had had a stainless electric that lasted her lifetime and moaned "why can't I find one like that?" My hubby searched and found this one. We've had it only about a month and so far love it. We've been faithfully seasoning it after each use and it's been surprisingly easy to clean. It cooked evenly and quickly. The glass lid allows me to reduce the number of times I have to lift the lid and keep "checking in."
