Some reviewers have lambasted these little gems for not having room-filling, concert hall sound and volume. So what? For the price and size who in their right mind expects that!!!
I purchased these to be placed inside of an old bakelite radio case so that I could run my iPod into it and have it used an every day "old" radio, sitting among my collection. Once placed inside the case and facing the speaker grill, these make an amazing sound. Sure, the bass may be a bit lacking, but these were never built to replace a set of stereo speakers with subwoofer. They put put a more than adequate amount of sound for use with a computer, iPod, CD player, or for most anything that has an earphone output.
The only reason I can't give them 5 stars is because the best listening range only goes out about 8 feet. After that some of the audio quality gets lost in furniture and other sound-absorbing materials. So, for personal use where you are going to be within a few steps, 5 stars, but overall 4 stars.

I couldn't believe the price for these speakers when I came across them on Amazon. But you do get what you pay for. The speakers while smart looking do not have much power for volume. So while they are useful when you have no other audio outlet, plugging in your mp3 player into a stereo is a much better solution. | 3 | Today |
