The printer is listed as somewhat slow on review sites, but it's just fine for my needs. However, the add-on bottom tray that came with the printer was defective, and never worked (couldn't open the drawer). HP was very responsive with over the phone support, and sent another. That one was defective, too. After a couple hours on the phone, I finally got a third tray that worked.
