The roll ball allows for smooth and sexy cursor precision while the small form factor allows me to balance the keyboard on top of one leg without effort. 5 Today Excellent Home Theatre PC Keyboard this keyboard works great. i built my own htpc home theatre pc like a tivo and use it for this. its range varies from 10-15 feet usually without disruption. it has a cool trackball that is easy to use and makes it convenient to use from a lazy chair. 5 Today I like it I use this from the couch and it works good. I like the trackball connected to it and on the left side the scrolling dial is nice too. I had the usb laser connected in the back but had to bring it to the front for it to work better. The cursor does go into sleep mode, but I just click enter and it comes right back. I bought another one for backup and also one for a friend. You wouldn't want to try and speed type but the keys work fairly well. The batteries lasted me six months. There's not many wireless that have all these features on the keyboard. I don't like the touchpads so this one has been working out good so far. 4 Today Exactly what we needed I purchased Adesso Wireless Mini for my wife because of the limited space on her pull-out keyboard tray and it has been exactly what she needed. She does not use the trackball or the integrated mouse buttons as we purchased a wireless mouse to go along with this. There are a few differences from a standard width keyboard (e.g., the key spacing) but the transition has been quick and easy. I'd also say that the build quality of the Adesso exceeds some of the other units we've seen on the market. The set-up was easy and flawless and I'd recommend this keyboard to anyone needing a compact unit. 4 Today Excelent product...works perfect... just some times (few) cursor stops and after 5 seconds it starts to work again... 4 Today Better than average design, but very poor construction (haywire after 2 months) For the 2 months that it worked, it was better than other mini keyboard/trackball combos that I've tried (but that is not saying much at all, since they are almost all terrible). One thing I liked most about this over others was that it rarely needed to be resynched. The trackball worked pretty well for being so tiny, and the mouse buttons/scroll wheel were nice. But today, after using the keyboard for probably only 5-15 minutes per week over the last couple of months, it has gone haywire. Pressing most keys on the keyboard now results in the keyboard sending multiple keystrokes to the computer. For example, the "g" key sends "gv". I'm past the Amazon 30-day guarantee, so I'll have to try to deal with the manufacturer Adesso. 2 Today Has "Issues" I use this on a media center PC that I built. It's not the most comfortable keyboard, and the keys are kind of 'mushy' and difficult to press (not a big deal since I don't write a lot on my media center). The most annoying thing is that the wireless link keeps getting "disconnected" when I turn on the computer and I have to re-link it. For what it is (and considering it's about the only game in town if you want a wireless keyboard with a trackball), it works pretty good- when it works. 3 Today honest I bought it for my 42in. pc theater hopeing it would work 17ft. away from my easy chair. It works perfectly. NOW I tested it's range. Kitchen wall 28ft. away direct line of sight worked flawlesy. I opened garage/kitchen door went to far end of garage a total of 52ft from the pc theater it still worked even though I could not see the screen that well at 52ft.
