Morton makes salt into their reason for being, so we can be pretty sure that they get it right. Every container of "Morton's Iodized Salt" that I have used over the past 50 years was exactly like every other which is the kind of consistency that makes a consumer feel safe. If you want to avoid goiter, however, this is NOT the ticket. Instead you will need to use "MORTON'S IODIZED SALT", and that's an example of how a tiny amount of a trace mineral can go a long way.
