These are one of the best THX value speakers , I like them coz they are the best and give deep bass as well as nice set of speakers with total of 280W RMS power which is enough for my room to rock and roll . I had got first Creative T7900 7.1 Speakers and they are Pothetic and worse in Performance , the sound and the sub is worse , they are just nothing compared to the Z-5300 . <br /> <br />The good : <br />1. Excellent speaker Quality for the price <br />2. The sub is excellent if the setting is perfect ( i am using a Creative Audigy 2 ZS Sound card ) <br />3. Wall mountable and the volume control Pod is excellent , it looks good , not like creative s T7900 Pod ,it feels and looks so cheap <br />4. The sub and speakers have enough power to rock , 35 watts rms per speaker and woofer 100 watts rms . <br /> <br />The Bad : <br />1. The front and centre Speaker cables are very short , so u need to get extensions if u are going to wall mount them <br />2. The sub is really powerfull and when listening to music u might feel the bass is really messy , but it can be controlled right using the creative audigy 2 ZS card and the control Pod <br />3. We cannot use another audio source , i have a computer and i have connected these to the audigy 2 ZS card , now my wife needs to listen to music using a external Sony Audio cd player and i cannot connect them now , if anyone has an idea how to , please let me know . 4 777 days ago Good quality with a little drawback The price is good enough for these small speakers and can give a very good sound. For now, I can only see 3 disadvantages of the speakers. First, the wires are not long enough so you can mount it on the wall. Second, the sattelite speakers can only swivel about less than 180 degrees on the same side - that is, if you want to mount them on the wall, you can't get the angle that you wanted especially on the right (front and rear) speakers. They should have the right (front and rear) speakers swivel on different direction as the left (front and rear) speakers. Thirdly, a "wired" remote control - which is quite inconvinient to have especially if you are watching tv and wanted to adjust the volume. You better adjust the volume before watching a movie or listening to music coz it's quite annoying to stand up and adjust it to the right volume. But with this price, you are certainly getting what you're paying for. 4 777 days ago Excellent Sound for an Excellent Price I have been very pleased with these speakers. I use them both for gaming as well as listening to mp3s and they have yet to let me down. I have played these speakers at maximum volume numerous times and there is no distortion what-so-ever. Another feature that I like is that the headphone jack is on the remote control unit, which makes it very accessible to late night jamming when I don't want to wake the family.
