Kramer Striker 522S Bass Guitar Metallic Black A Step Ahead In the 1980s, Kramer set the pace in the electric guitar industry, becoming the favorite of numerous rock musicians with its willingness to experiment with both the shape and sound of the rock guitar. First, there was the wooden-neck design of the early 80s which allowed the company to make affordable guitars that appealed to traditionally-minded musicians. Next came the Rockinger tremolo, followed closely by the Floyd Rose tremolo system, which finally offered guitar players a tremolo that stayed in tune. And, when Kramer shifted to a banana headstock in the mid-80s and installed some Seymour Duncan pickups, the verdict was in: Kramer had become the number one guitar manufacturer in the world, outselling both Gibson and Fender in the years 1985-6. The company hit financial hard times in the early 90s, eventually being sold out of bankruptcy to the Gibson Guitar Corporation. But, spurred on by a renewal of interest in those classic guitars of the 80s, Kramer hasnGĻ+t thrown in the towel on making affordable, innovative, important guitars. With many new models, along with classic reissues, 2007 and beyond promises to be an exciting time for Kramer guitars.

| Review | Rating | Last Updated | Horrible amp I had this amp for 2 days, and the whole time during playing the protect light would blink off and on, and then after 20 min it would stay on and shut the amp down. This amp does not put out 100x4 watts it's probably 70x4. I would not recommend this amp for any one who wants high powered highs. | 2 | 770 days ago | Impressed For the money, this amp is excellent. It powers well and it doesnt have any issues with reliability. It does exactly what it is made to do, and doesn't crap out on you. I ran it 4 channels to my Infiniti Kappas and it sounds amazing. You, of course, need the right speakers to pull this off. The settings this amp has makes it very easy to tune to your liking. Just make sure when you run the wires to run the power wire away from the audio wires, or you will get excessive amounts of interference. My only gripe is the size of it, even though it is a 4 channel amp, it's pretty damn big. | 4 | 770 days ago | For the most part, what I was looking for I have to admit that I did expect more from the Senseo than I got but, overall, it did fit my primary need. I wanted to be able to make a cup of quality coffee at home without spending roughly $1.50 at Starbucks each time and I wanted to be able to do this quickly with minimum fuss as I get ready for work. Where convenience is concerned, this machine really does deliver. It's extremely quick and easy to get your cup of coffee in the morning and I'd say it takes me about 1 minute of my time total. Quality is about halfway between regular drip coffee makers (using quality fresh-ground beans) and Starbuck's drip coffee. My biggest complaint is the company's view of how large a "cup" is. They dictate that one pod makes one "cup" of coffee which is 4 oz. A "mug" or two "cups" is 8 oz and the machine can make this double amount in one session. So when you're looking at the price of pods and how many you get, keep in mind that you will actually use 2-3 pods per use. Considering you need 3 pods to get 12 oz (equal to a "Tall" at Starbucks - which is their smallest size), you will get 6 uses out of one $5 box of pods. That's a little cheaper than Starbucks but it's going to be much more expensive than your regular coffee maker. Also, the machine is designed around very small cups so larger mugs (especially those travel mugs that fit in your car's cup holder) won't fit under the drip spout. Lastly, the coffee pods come in three roasts (mild, medium, dark) along with a decaffeinated blend. Even the dark roast won't be as dark as what you'll find at the local coffee shop so I'd recommend buying this and treating it as the medium roast.

<br />In the end, I'm still glad I bought this machine though it's shortcomings are easily noticed. | 3 | 766 days ago |
