Like the others, I was so pleased with this product. I am also a college student and used the drive almost every single day. Until one day I was editing a picture, and it just froze up on me and wiped out every precious document from the whole semester. I don't even think anything is physically broken on it, it just fried internally.

<br />To add insult to injury, the PNY website absolutely sucks. They have no way to contact them at all, and no troubleshooting tips either. I will never ever buy anything from this company again, and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. If you are desperate for a cheap flash drive and must buy it, make sure you also store all of your documents on your hard drive. | 1 | 788 days ago | Less is more

I've had this drive since August (that's five months). I've never had a problem with the drive actually working, though it is slow in being recognized on any of my computers. However, the case is cheap, thin, plastic, and it broke in my hand when I removed it from a port last week. I've had to jimmy it back together and tape it in order to retrieve my information. This flashdrive works well. Yes, it's light and the plastic does look flimsy but I've sent it hurtling to the floor once already and it still functions properly.

<br />My only complaint is that it doesn't work when plugged into unpowered USB ports (like the ones in a keyboard) but even that isn't a big deal since I can always plug it directly into a computer port. | 4 | 788 days ago | It only works when it wants to.
I had it for 5 days, and now it only works when it wants to. Sometimes I will plug it in, and it simply won't make itself known to my computer. I know it's a problem with the product and not my computer because there's a light on the flash drive that comes on when you plug it in, and it's not coming on the times it doesn't work.
