This one is a bit larger (not by much) but still..the removable plates were a stroke of genius! | 4 | 810 days ago | Even the Man of the House Loves this Grill The ability to grill instead of broiling steaks, burgers, salamon, and other fish, is amazing. The ease of cleanup is a major factor. The only complaint is the heat controls(low, medium, and high). I would prefer a temperature guide. | 5 | 810 days ago | Loving the George Foreman Grill!! This grill is wonderful! I cooked tuna one night and it was better than cooking it on the grill outside, and quicker! I've made pork chops and chicken and everything is quick and easy. I haven't made anything that wasn't good. I also found a couple of webites that people listed their own recipes and cook times through experimenting. I've told everyone about this grill, it's great! | 5 | 810 days ago | Much better than previous Foreman grills I had a standard Foreman grill for about a year, and never used. When I did use it, it sat on the counter for days because cleaning it was such a pain in the neck.
I got this grill about a year ago and use it all the time. The removable plates make this an indispensable tool. When you are done cooking, just toss the plates into the dishwasher.

I also have some feedback after using it for a year. I actually wash mine in the sink more often than in the dishwasher because it is so easy to do. I do recommend stocking up on the George Forman sponges because they only last a month or two, and they work much better than anything else I have found.
I have had some Teflon come off the bottom plate, but not enough to make me upset. 2 or 3 small scratches, and 2 holes about half the diameter of a pencil. In fairness, the holes are on top of small bumps which are the contact point between the 2 plates.

Overall I am very happy with this, and would recommend it to anyone.
| 5 | 810 days ago | Great upgrade! I have owned a large Foreman grill for years and love to use it but hate to clean it, so I decided to upgrade to the removable plates. I honestly don't know why they even bother selling the other ones anymore, there's simply no comparison. The GRP4 is great grill, the grills pop right out and right into the dishwasher. I usually pre-treat them with Dawn Power Dissolver before I put them in the dishwasher that way they come completely clean with no scrubbing on my part. The only downside for this item is that the grills are pretty small, literally only 4 small burgers will fit on this grill. It's not enough cooking space if you're cooking for the whole family. I thought there would be more cooking area based on the size of the closed unit. Also, unlike my larger grill, there is only one temperature setting on this grill--on. My old larger one had a slider to adjust the temperature. Despite the lack of adjustable temperature, I still highly recommend that if you buy one of these grills, do not settle for one without the removable grill plates, it is worth the few extra bucks. | 5 | 810 days ago |
