not worth the $40 I recently bought my second of these. The first had a digital tuner. You had to get used to the feel. After about a year of use, one earphone went out. The one I just bought has an analogue tuner, and it is extremely hard to get any station other than the very high-powered pop (and around here, country) stations. The tuner requires extremely small movements to move way up the dial. I can't believe Sony is charging $40.00 for this cheap piece of junk.	1	801 days ago
just OK I wear these to football and hockey games to listen to the game details on the local radio station. For that it is fine. <br />My problem is the way they fit, it is very uncomfortable to wear sunglasses also, which is a problem at the football games. <br />If I were to buy another set, it would not be this type that wrap around the back of your head.	3	801 days ago
Lacking common sense As said before, the idea of having clear reception on wireless headphones is a brilliant idea. However, it seems that Sony lacks some precious common sense. <br /> <br />1) This item comes with an analog tuner. As someone who changes channels a lot during commercials, it is a huge pain to have to to reach up, take it off, and try to find my favorite stations. Why an analog tuner, Sony? Are we in the 60's? <br /> <br />2) The item does not have any fabric over the headphones. <br /> <br />3) The item is exceptionally uncomfortable. Perhaps a little padding over the arch on the ears could help a little. <br /> <br />Other than that, the item is fine (reception), if you like to never change your channels. My suggestion: buy the srf-hm01v... At least that is digital with some presets.	3	801 days ago
For their function, they work great. I will first start off by saying that yes, indeed they are a tad bigger then normal behind the ear headphones but they have a radio in them so cut the design some slack. They aren't that heavy unless they are used for a prolonged period of time, 2 or 3 hours is about when the headphones start to feel heavy. If you are worried about them looking goofy then you need to do two things. 1) Realize that they are for sporting, bike riding, running, hiking etc. 2) Don't be so full of yourself that a little added width is going to throw off your perfectly balanced figure. All in all, these headphones are perfect for their function and price.	5	801 days ago
OK, but uncomfortable This works fine, but I wish I had tried it out in person before (or instead of) buying it: <br /> <br />- the way it rides on the ears is uncomfortable - especially if wearing with (sun)glasses <br /> <br />- the neck strap rubs against my collar, so if I turn my head, it pushes the thing, rubbing more against my ears <br /> <br />- the way it sticks out on either side is a bit goofy looking.	2	801 days ago
