It took me two years of playing this off and on to get 100% in everything! 5 780 days ago One of best adventure/mystery games I've played! I can't believe it took me so long to come upon this unusual adventure game. If you enjoy games like Syberia, Longest Journey, Gabriel Knight, Broken Sword, then this is the game for you. With beautiful graphics, you feel 'at home' in all the settings, as our hero Eike tries to figure out how to outwit the forces that want to do him in. No complicated puzzles or combat scenes (don't get this game if that's what you're looking for), but solving mysteries by manipulating objects and events. Not wanting to give too much away, but also wanting to hint at the type of problem-solving you encounter, tying a rope to a rail 100 years ago will not save you, but tying that same rope in the present time will help because it has not been weathered and will be strong enough to support you. And this game is worth the money. Once you finish the game, you realize there are other paths you could have taken for 6 different endings. Each ending is a masterpiece in itself, and well worth going back in the game to change 'fate'. Depending on your game-playing dexterity, this is worth over 30 hours of game time. 5 780 days ago yesss a good story with just ...greatness i bought this games after find the metal gear games for PC and i can say that this games is great for "movie night" it is down to the core a movie but i cant play a game with out a good story that is a must for games so a deep plot was just great i'd expect nothing less from konami. and people complain too much about ports first off its was on the ps2 and now the gfx can go really high and are exellent even for most modern games. simply if u have time and are lookinf for a good game to play get this but u have to be clever to beat this games so think hard and enjoy.. and may i recomend metal gear solid 2 sustance for PC get it just to spite teh port haters 5 780 days ago sigh... If you're going to transfer a console game to the PC, you ought to spend a little more time and effort to make it actually playable on the PC... 3 780 days ago Do you Like a Good Mystery? Pros: 1. Intricate, fascinating story, in which the hero struggles to overcome a dark destiny. Very good handling of the complexities of time travel. Plot twists and surprises. 2. Elaborate end game with impressive cinematic cutscenes. Be sure you trigger all five endings plus at least one Extra ending. 3. The inventory system is easy to use. Figuring out which action to take at any particular time is more of a challenge. Nice 3D graphics and music. Mostly good voice acting. Cons: 1. The keyboard control system is unusually sensitive. You can use the mouse to pan around outdoor locations, but indoors you use only the keyboard. There are plenty of obstacles on the street that bounce you back from your intended path. 2. Although the cutscenes are fun to watch, you may have to watch some of them over and over. If you hate repetition, this is not the game for you. There is no fighting in the game, but you do see the hero die again and again, which makes the game too intense for young children. 3. The game (played on Windows XP) crashed occasionally. Also, I would have liked about twenty more save-game slots. Bottom Line: An adventure game unlike any other.
