The product is very good, the only problem is it is always like rolling the diece when you put water in the measuring cup. It has to do with the level of the ocean and some states it will cook faster some slower....

My family is fond of egg & olive salad, and I'm one to put boiled egg in tuna salad, too. I'd always had trouble with boiled eggs, no matter how carefully I tried in regular boiling water, using a puncture pin and everything, I'd still get broken, "volcanic" eggs that were a mess. I've had the Egg Head for 3 years and absolutely love it. The eggs are perfect every time, whether it is one, two or more. The clean up is very easy, too. As mentioned, the "done" timer is really loud and startling but I think that is a good thing so you don't leave the eggs sitting to long and end up with less than perfect. I'm not a big "gadget" person, but this one is a real pleasure to own, doesn't take up much space and is charming even when sitting out on the counter. | 5 | 788 days ago | Perfect Eggs Everytime
I don't often rate items, but every once in a while a great product comes along. If you like hard boiled eggs this is the product for you. The eggs come out perfect every time. Also, all you do is put in the eggs, press a button and wash the eggs is cold water for 30 seconds when the buzzer sounds. It doesn't get any easier than this!

<br />I have not used the poacher yet, so I can't tell you how that works. Also, I don't know why people are complaining about the buzzer - it's about as loud as those old style oven buzzers - not a big deal.

This little egg cooker is loud but it makes perfect poached and soft/hard boiled eggs once you get the water amount right. The instructions are not very helpful but if you are persistent you will get good results. I called the 800 number and after a while I received some helpful advice. | 4 | 788 days ago |
