I bought this extra drive because I'm a writer and needed something more reliable than disks to store my manuscripts. It's exactly as advertised - whole extra drive for your computer, and PERFECT for transferring files from PC to PC. Light and compact, it fits in your pocket for business presentations and trips. The only "flaw" was the installation, but perhaps they didn't give me complete directions. The directions are geared towards newer systems, and I have an old laptop with Windows 98. The directions said downloads were available from their website, though, and I found it right on the homepage. Downloaded the software, followed the installation instructions, rebooted, and there it was!
