I actually returned another wireless to Circuit City made by the same company because after using the roller ball for so long I could not get used to the other one, Circuit City did not carry the wireless version. Hill 1 820 days ago Comfortable, Useful and Generally Reliable The trackball has been a real upgrade from using a conventional mouse. I am really glad I made the conversion and should have done it sooner. I purchased the cordless trackball on recommendation of one of my colleagues at work who has expertise in human factors and ergonomics. I was getting cramped fingers at the end of a long day of editing documents, creating slides and surfing webpages doing research. I was hesitant at first to use a trackball because I was pretty comfortable with a mouse and I didn't want to interrupt my working rythm. <br /> <br />The installation of the device and the software was easy and I re-trained myself within a few minutes. No more tired index finger. The trackball is easy to control and navigating webpages is a real pleasure. <br /> <br />The only complaint, and the reason I gave it four instead of five stars, is that twice in two months, the cursor has "lodged" itself into the upper right corner and refused to move. Seems to be tied to coming out of the screen saver. The only working solution has been to re-boot the machine. <br /> <br />Overall, it is great and I heartily recommend it. 4 820 days ago Usual Logitech quality I have never been disappointed in the quality of any Logitech product I have purchased. This trackball works well, rolls smooth, and has good range from the wireless receiver. At home, I can use it from across the room. At work, however, with more electronic interference, I have to be much closer to the receiver. The one caution is the scroll wheel - do not take out your frustration at the web on this part, it WILL break. <br /> <br /> 4 820 days ago Excellent Mouse I used a thumb whell mouse for years. The cordless feature makes a good product better. 5 820 days ago Great Choice I got one for myself and my daughter immediately also needed one! The initial purpose - the cats were playing with the cord and annoying me, so I got this mouse. It works great, is totally responsive and very comfortable. <br /> <br />The only downside - the contacts on the ball portion do collect "stuff" and the ball needs to be removed regularly to clean those contact points. This is easy - about a 1 minutes job about once a week. <br /> <br />I highly recommend this mouse.
