| Review | Rating | Last Updated | Fast and from Panasonic!!! This card has been used in my new Panasonic DMC FZ10k digital camera and is lightning quick. In burst mode the pics load to the card almost instantly and I couldn't be happier with it's perfmormance. I also have a Lexar 32x 256MB card and itis similar permormance but this card does have faster transfer speeds (10 mbs)than the Lexar so you may or may not notice a difference depending on what your using it in. | 5 | 771 days ago | FAST and RELIABLE, what more can you ask for? My first digital camera used Compact Flash card. I bought a PNY card which corrupts every so often. When that happened, I would have to turn the camera off and on again (sort of re-boot), and all the pictures already taken would lost. Originally, I thought it was the camera (a HP), but after some research on the web, I found out that it was a problem common to PNY cards as well as other cheap cards. Therefore, when it was time for me to buy a SD card for my new digital camera, I got smart this time and did the homework first. Thanks to all the reviewers on Amazon.com, I narrowed my choices to Panasonic and SimpleTech, both with almost identical specs. I purchased the Panasonic card because of its slightly lower price at the time. I now have used this card for over 3 months, and am absolutely satisfied with its performance. First off, it is very fast. My camera has a "burst" mode in which it takes 5 consecutive shots a second. This cards handles it with ease. Most importantly, this card is extremely reliable. I have taken over 2,000 pictures with it and never once had problem with file corruption. You will take countless number of pictures over the life of a SD card, so it is well worth the extra $20-$30 for the speed and reliability. Highly recommend it with any digital camera. | 5 | 771 days ago | Fast, reliable, and high-capacity! I recently purchased the Panasonic 256 SD card, an upgrade from my 64 SD card that I had before and I am just as pleased with this card. I recently went on a trip to Europe and kept piling pictures onto the card, plus I used it to download my trip details, phone book and more. I really like the versatility that this card affords, and the fact that it is compatible with many different products, something that competing formats are not. My friend ran into this problem when she bought a similar product and found it imcompatible with much of her outdated products. I also found the card to be reliable--it went all the way through Western Europe and back and still works as good as new! | 5 | 771 days ago | Buyer Beware The Panasonic list price for this item is $119.99. | 5 | 771 days ago | Super fast! My camera came with a Panasonic card, only 32 MB -too small. When I bought a larger card, I didn't know anything about them, only the shape of the card. I definitely didn't realize there was a difference between brands. I thought a card's a card. I was foolishly seduced by the Sandisk's sale price. My 128 Sandisk is noticably slower when moving pictures from the camera to my computer. Too slow for my impatient self, so here I am buying the one I should have bought in the first place. | 5 | 771 days ago | 1st memory card for 1st digital camera Great, fast memory card. Price on Amazon was best I found. Thought that 256 MB would provide enough storage while on 3 day vacation, but found out we needed more. (It stored 110 images.) Will purchase a 1 GB next and take this one along for a backup. | 5 | 754 days ago | Panasonic SD Memory -- Great! I purchased the 256 MB Panasonic memory because my new Panasonic camera came with a paltry 16MB. After reading several reviews, I decided to keep my Panasonic ensemble "pure". The camera has very high speed capability thus only the fastest memory would suffice. I am very pleased with all aspects of this purchase -- product, Amazon's service and all. I'd recommend this selection over all the third-party suppiers. | 5 | 754 days ago | GREAT PRODUCT!! How can you go wrong with panasonic? YOU CAN'T! They are the best electronic producers around, in my opinion. This little card is great. I use it in my GPS to store maps...fast upload, there is no drag time. It's storage capacity is great too, I've got 6 different maps saved on it, of two to four states at a time. It's a great product and a really great price! I will forever buy panasonic, forget the other guys...if you want reliability and confidence, buy panasonic. | 5 | 754 days ago | holds a lot of photos I am new to digital photography. I've always owned 35mm cameras but with the advent of the digital camera I wanted the ability to have quick access to my photos, ability to discard unwanted ones, and fast picture taking capabilities. This card was highly recommended by other Amazon reviewers and I am not disappointed in the product at all. My camera is a 5 megapixel and I get 161 shots with this card. I have the capability to get more pictures simply by setting my camera at a lower megapixel but 161 shots at 5 is fine with me. Pictures are very clear and true in color. And best part is there is no real lag time between shots. So I don't really have to worry about missing the shot. | 5 | 754 days ago | pretty good memory card I use this card mainly for taking video with my digital camera. It is totally fine with writing a file more than 100 MB and transferring the data to computer.
