| Review | Rating | Last Updated | Awsome This game is a very fun World War Two based game, and i've been playing Computer Games sience i was about six or seven, and i know great games when i see them, and this game is great, between Graphics and the Unique Units i suggest to buy it. | 4 | 754 days ago | Great game This game was the first "build an army" type game I ever played. I thought it was really good. I loved how you could build special units for every general and there were mutiple generals and 5 country choices (Germans, Americans, Great Britain, Russia, and Japan). The graphics are good and the sound effects are too. Overall, I definetely recommend this game to almost anyone above 7. I don't really understand why it's rated "T" though. Because in the game there is no blood. And when your squad kills someone the person just falls down or goes flying. And it's not even zoomed in. The only problem is MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ENOUGH VIRTUAL AND PHYSICAL MEMORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Otherwise the game will be slow) | 5 | 754 days ago | Another Botch Job from Atari Atari once again cranks out a game too quickly, with little concern for smooth design, concept or playability.

This game is a complete hack, failing to play on my dual processor Pentium IV, with the latest video and sound drivers, but playable on a far older machine with minimum requirements.

It means that if you have hardware more advanced than the game's original test bed in 2004, you'll likely run into problems.

Atari has had such problems, they've dismantled their customer service support by phone and now take 7-10 business days to respond to emails via phone.

Despite screen shots of errors, along with attachments of their own error logs and also the system event log, that illustrate clear problems with the game, they not only could not help me alleviate my problems and they refused an RMA, even though I had my receipt and was willing to email them proof of purchase.

This is yet another hack job by Atari, I should have known better. This is not a game for playing and enjoying, it's a game for laying down and avoiding at all costs. | 1 | 754 days ago | They Messed Up a Great Game! This game is terrible. It is nothing like the board game or the CD game that came out in 1998. They should have kept it to the 1998 format, expanded it, fixed the issues that their next CD game had (Blitz) and made it more challenging. Instead, they tore up the base of the old CD game, which abandons what the Axis and Allies faithful love about the game so much to begin with. Now, they have no more faithful CD game players and this game will soon end up in the Half-Price or $3 dollar game bin at the local Best Buy or Circuit City. Way to go guys, you messed up a game that couldn't be messed up, but you found a way to do it anyway. Congrats. | 1 | 754 days ago | Axis & Allies - not a real good stratagy game The game is entertaining to a point, but really lacks stratagy. This is basically a Starcraft or Age of Empires with a WW2 mask on it. | 3 | 754 days ago |
