| Review | Rating | Last Updated | Street Fighter Anniversary Collection Is a mixture of the Original Street Fighter mixed with Street Fighter Alpha and Marvel Vs Capcom. I simply Love it. | 5 | 810 days ago | What are they thinking? I am a huge Street Fighter fan since the beginning. I played every single Street Fighter game out there, and this title is perfect for me, since there are not that many arcades with this machine. I enjoy the original action and gameplay, and not to mention all of the original characters and style they represent.

This title has the origal version, along with the Turbo and Championship version, and not to mention Street Fighter 3, not to mention all of the characters all rolled into one. I like the idea of a original Ryu could fight a more recent Ryu.

The only problem I have with this game is the difficuly of it. I am a good player, yet I still lose to the first person I fight, and that is on the Easiest Mode. Come on, they fight like they are on Hard Mode, I really am ticked off by DeeJay and T-Hawk, they are a pain to fight. I have to resort to basic kick and sweep, and mostly sweep just to beat them. Word to Capcom, make Easiest Mode easy and Hard Mode hard, not Hard Mode all the way.

Overall classic Street Fighter game, with Street Fighter 3 and classic action that we all love, this is a great game for all you fans.
| 3 | 810 days ago | misleading The summary says it is 6 games in one. Really, it's only 2 games in one. Street Fighter III is a blast and one of the most fun games in the series. Loads of characters, new moves, and new locations. This game alone would've gotten a 5.

Then there's supposedly 5 Street Fighter games: Street Fighter II, Championship, Turbo, Super Turbo ... and one other I can't remember because in truth it's not there.
It's hard to explain, but instead of choosing one of the five games to play, you play one game but choose from which game your opponents come from. The game menus are the same, the world map that flies back and forth is the same, everything except what characters you fight.

Also, I still have Street Fighter II for super nintendo. The game is incredibly easy on level 0. So easy that it can be beaten with straight perfects. Level 5 is a challenge. In the Anniversy edition, the "easiest" difficulty level is the same as difficulty 5 on the super nintendo. Which is very annoying.

On top of all that, I bought the game hoping to have Street Fighter Alpha included. Then I thought maybe I remembered wrong and Alpha was really Turbo. Nope, Alpha not included.

But 3rd Strike makes the game worth it. Easily. | 4 | 810 days ago | The Reason why to get this, and a reason not to... I love Street Fighter II, I mean I really love Street Fighter II. I have been playing it since it came out in the arcades, Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis, and I still play them on those systems. I own every version of Street Fighter II with the exclusion of Super Street Fighter II Turbo because I don't own a 3DO. That is the reason why I got this collection because it's included in what is called Street Fighter II: Hyper, which is like a combination of all of the Street Fighter II versions. But I am disappointed in it. Why you ask? I am a really good player, this is my favorite fighting game and I can beat all the others on the hardest settings. But the level of difficulty on this Hyper version is insane. The easiest even is hard!!! Especially if you are fighting T. Hawk and he does that HO thing!!! I want to break the disc!!! But let me say that when you are playing against a human player, all the fun and stradegy of Street Fighter II returns. But what I think is the best thing of the whole deal is the game I didn't buy it for: Street Fighter III: Third Strike. This game is excellent!!! Graphics, Sound, Challenge, and most of all FUN!!! It's all there! So if you want to play Street Fighter II the right way, play it on a Super Nintendo is my suggestion or play it on Genesis, or if your lucky to have the arcade machine around play it (you lucky Bast..), but don't it on the Hyper version and plan on actually have fun against the computer. But do get it!!! Buy it for Third Strike, it is well worth it. | 4 | 810 days ago | THIRD STRIKE! While I love to play Third Strike and the Classic Street Fighter, there was something missing from this "collection". Where was Alpha? How can you not have Alpha in the "Street Fighter Anniversary Collection"? What kind of Collection of Street Fighter games is that? Dont get me wrong I love this game, but come on wheres Alpha? Not exactly a collection of all the Street Fighter games, but Third Strike is what makes Street Fighter Anniversary Collection fun to play its arcade perfect. I love it! | 4 | 810 days ago |
