| Review | Rating | Last Updated | San Disk Smart Media*** I love San Disk Products! Their smart media cards are the best. They are very reliable and I have never received a faulty card. You can use them over and over... I like the 64MB size, it's perfect to take on trips and holds a nice amount of pictures. The price has really dropped in the last six months. I just purchased my fourth card. If your looking for smart media, stick with the brands you know and trust. | 5 | 775 days ago | Durability for sure I dropped my PDA and the MMC card popped out. Realized it was gone hours later, went back, found it. It had been run over by a truck or forklift, judging from the scratches. Popped it back in, it worked fine. I'd call that durable, wouldn't you? | 5 | 775 days ago | SD Card and Palm OS 4 First off, this card is great. Its small, sturdy, and delivers the space it said it would. Second, the price is excellent. Third, the nature of these cards is *much* slower than your handheld. My motivations were to expand my Palm 505 and be able to hold plenty of documents and web data on my Palm. The problem I had was the Palm didn't want to use all that space. The Palm OS VFS works rather like a fair hack. I had to find software (MSMount and a new browser LauncherX -- the latter is a shareware product) to actually mount the apps and data on the remote drive as well as Filez which allows you to perform file system operations on the card. After all this, my 505 works great with all the extra space. | 5 | 775 days ago | Incompatible with the Zaurus This card simply does not work with the Sharp Zaurus. Sharp has released an update to the ROM which improves the compability (they don't actually say it fixes the problem); but, in order to install ROM updates, you need a CompactFlash card. If you've got a CF card, then this SD card might be worth a try; but I wasn't willing to spend [money] for a 16M CF card in order to get a [$$$] SD card to work. | 1 | 775 days ago | NOT COMPATABLE with Toshiba e310! I just got off the line with Toshiba. Their Pocket PC's are NOT compatable with Sandisk SD cards. They work for a while, then die. I bought three at once and two are toast now. Toshiba knows about this and has yet to post a warning or contact owners of their otherwise excellent Pocket PC's. BEWARE! | 1 | 775 days ago |
