| Review | Rating | Last Updated | Very low quality product Having recently purchased a Dell Pocket DJ, I needed a method of listening to it in the car. Dell offered me this Belkin Cassette Adapter, which was a lower priced alternative to the Dell-brand Cassette Adapter. I am very disappointed with this piece.

<br />The sound is, admittedly, quite good. Virtually no interference, clean and clear, your music will play as if you're listening to it straight off of a CD. There is no static of any sort. The tape itself makes a grinding noise while inside the tape deck that is noticeable, particularly between songs. But the worst part of this adapter is its compatibility problem.

<br />This is quite possibly the most incompatible cassette adapter I've ever seen. Virtually every cassette deck that I put this adapter into rejected the tape. At first, I thought it was my own player, as I am using the generic Ford radio that came with my explorer. However, I tested this product out in about 6 other cars, and the same thing happened. This tape seems to confuse some tape decks, and will be playing fine for quite a while, and will then suddenly stop and switch tape read modes (if your cassette player has such a feature). This results in an abrupt end to the song you're listening to, and unless you love the 'soothing and relaxing' sound of your cassette player switching play modes as it tries to read the tape, you'll be in for quite a bite of frustration. Sometimes, for whatever reason, certain players will reject this tape for long periods of time. Personally my player kept spitting the tape out for about 4 weeks before it decided to take it again.

<br />The wire that connects to your MP3 Player, CD PLayer, or whatever it is you are using is quite flimsy. In fact, I am no longer using this product, simply because the wire broke.
