| Review | Rating | Last Updated | PX200 is garbage These headphones are horrible. I bought them to replace my ipod earbuds. Returned them the next day. The folding thing is cool, but the sound quality is horrible. The sound is tinny and has no depth. The only way to get decent sound out of them is to push them hard against your ears. In other words, these headphones are just plain worthless. Not worth the price at all, I'd rather have a non folding pair of headphones that sound great then a pair of horrible sounding headphones that fold. Don't buy these. | 1 | 802 days ago | Beware - NOTHING like PX100's (They're mid-rangy-flat) I want to be very clear: The PX200's sound NOTHING like PX100's. I purchased PX100 first, best headphone of its type I've tried... Crystal highs, strong accentuated bass, full, clear -I'm very impressed with them.

I bought the PX200's thinking the closed earpad design would be even better, classier, possibly even more punchier - I was wrong. Bass is very weak, it sounds very mid-rangey, very "flat" -Similar to the EQ of studio reference headphones but a little harsher.

I can't believe they're in the same family of Sennheiser headphones, they don't sound remotely similar. If you really like the PX100's, don't buy these. If you specifically are LOOKING for very flat, more mid-range sounding headphones, they might work for you. | 3 | 802 days ago | Some Good, Some Bad First off, let me say that I like the sound that comes out of these earphones. I was looking for a lightweight and comfortable set of fairly high fidelity headphones for my iPod, and these fit the bill nicely. Compared to my workout headphones, these things sound absolutely beautiful with a nice rich sound, especially for vocals. The bass is fairly lightweight, but I find it balanced as opposed to the overpowering thump that often accompanies headphones these days.

Basically, I would certainly consider buying these headphones again -- if they hadn't broken on me within six months.

It turns out there is a reason that headphone makers are creating plugs that take an immediate right angle on the plug. That seems to be the weak spot on headphones, and that right angle turn helps keep the wire from breaking right at that point. These headphones do not have that right angle turn, and of course, the wire in mine broke.

Since I only use this set of headphones while sitting at my computer, I must say that I am fairly disapointed they broke under such ideal use conditions. | 3 | 802 days ago | Great while they lasted! In my opinion, these are very well designed and sound pretty damn good for the under $50 price tag without looking too extreme on a daily basis.

Here's the bad part like a previous reviewer mentioned, that thin wire connecting these headphones broke. One pair of these guys lasted me 8 months and some change.

They have some 24 month warranty that you have to ship out to get it repaired, according to the website, since I am headphone-less, even though they broke under a year, I like them enough to get a second pair. | 4 | 802 days ago | Sennheiser PX 200 Great sound from a light-weight, comfortable headphone with a wide frequency range. These are more comfortable than earbuds and also result in less fatigue than wearing heavier headphones with wider frequency response. Especially effective reproduction at low volumes. I am glad I purchased. | 4 | 802 days ago |
