Bought, Returned, Bought, Returned-Garbage Let me be brief. I bought this unti 2X because of price and both units froze up and broke within a month. It became fuzzy and grey as well as made a buzzing noise. Units were History. I will never buy an audiovox system again.	1	775 days ago
I Bought Two - and they BOTH came with dead batteries Purchased two in August 2005. The manufacture date label reads Feb 2005, so they're reasonably new. The batteries won't take a charge. Both are dead as doornails right out of the box. This jibes with my (after the fact) product research that shows common battery failures. I bought them on impulse, on sale, at a big-box retailer At Which I Aim to shop a lot. I will be returning them next trip there.	1	775 days ago
Broke After 2 Years of Light Usage We purchased this DVD player for our son to use when we travel. It worked fine for about 2 years and just suddenly stopped reading discs. It has not been mistreated or used excessively, so there is no explanation for the malfunction. We will either repair it (if cost-effective) or, more likely, look for something else that will last a reasonable amount of time.	2	775 days ago
Pretty Good for the Money Not a bad DVD Player for the money! Can't find this model in many stores, but it is currently sold and popular. I had it over a month now. The first one had a small white dot that came on the center of the screen (Very annoying) whenever the power went on. Called Audiovox and told it was a Defective/burnt pixel and to return it. I called Amazon and the were great to send out another! Also the first had many parts missing (including the battery) and the DVD box was not sealed. <br /> <br />Otherwise, the battery lasts a good 2 hours, sometimes up to three as advertised. More if the volume is lower or headphones are used and screen is not bright. Also comes with regular AC electric cable and an adapter for the car (many do not have this one, read small print). <br /> <br />The screen is good. Mind as well say it's 6 inches. I'd not go smaller as the movies always play smaller than the screen is. But it's easy to read words. Remote is good. <br /> <br />One drawback is I'd like to see the volume on the remote. But then again with something this size it's usually not across the room like a regular TV. <br /> <br />Lightweight, especially without the battery. I've used it for drives in the car, laying on the couch (when someone else has the TV), even in the backyard. Volume is good without the headphones, but I'd advise to purchase a pair as it helps and also helps preserve the battery (if you use the battery). <br /> <br />If you're looking for an average priced portable DVD and don't want to break your pocketbook, yet have one that works and has everything you need to use (but headphones but they're cheap), be it in hotel, car or home then this one is for you.	4	775 days ago
Can't find anything to complain about This little player survived a trip to Alaska in the hands of an active 7 year old as well as a busy summer being jostled and handled with sticky, muddy fingers. It was a welcome relief for him (and his parents) when he needed some down time! The picture and sound were/are terrific. It works great with or without headphones. We let some friends borrow it for a car ride from Illinois to Colorado with their 9 year old and they said it was a "Godsend". So, in our experience this player has survived quite a bit of traveling by plane, in backpacks, on boats (yes, in the sea air), in cars, being on floors, handled by dirty hands, held upside down, held on laps, on bean bags, ect and it still works great! For the price I expected to get one trip out of it! I would recommend this player to anyone!	5	775 days ago
