Bringing joy to young victims of violence

by BeckyD on January 14, 2014

Recently a team held a sport and games event at the site of a church bombing in Central Asia. They sent the following report:
We spent three days of fun, enjoyment, games & trauma counseling with children who had lost their loved ones during Church blast in Sept 2013. This event was unique as we had children who had stopped going to church after that incident. We also had children from the church which was attacked – many of whom are still under treatment. It was so touching to visit families every evening who are still recovering from their injuries. There were 388 children from 13 Churches with their leadership as well.
Angelical Bishop said,” You have brought smiles back to our children’s faces, they are happy and enjoying themselves. May God bless those who brought joy to our children.”
Aden injured child, “ I am very happy that I am still alive and I could have fun with different friends. Please pray for me as I still feel pain in my tummy and have shrapnel in my body”
Thank you for standing with us and the Christians in this region.
