Max7 – open source resources for children’s ministry

As we review www.Max7.org at the end of 2013, it is wonderfully clear so many people have generously shared what they have with others. Here’s a quick snapshot of the last 12 months.

414 new curriculum resources in 2013

  • 40 Pre-school children’s Bible lessons.
  • 188 new children’s Curriculum resources (lessons) have been shared, many of high quality with accompanying games, songs or worksheets.
  • 50 Youth Lessons are now available (including 40 for youth leadership development) . In addition to this,
  • 126 All Ages and All Abilities resources have been shared for family and inclusive church ministry.

27 New Family Resources designed for use in the home (including Bible studies, and articles for parents) with videos to help families unpack the Bible and work out how to live together for Christ and then sharing Christ with the world.

22 training sessions for children, family and youth Ministry leaders.

41 new videos

  • There are new Bible story videos.
  • 33 new youth Bible teaching videos (21 in English and 12 in Spanish).

18 new songs in multiple languages have been donated in the last 12 months, with accompanying songbooks and sheet music. More than half are not in English at all (mainly Tamil and Bahasa Indonesia) this is very exciting showing a rise in people feeling comfortable to share resources in their first language.

Here’s a few links to new resources shared this week on Max7:

Thanks everyone for sharing with the world – and serving children where you are. Our saviour said,“Anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me, welcomes not only me but also my Father who sent me.” Mark 9:37 (NLT)
